Successful operation for Dominique Aegerter

The Moto2 world championship has only just ended and Dominique Aegerter has had another meeting, this time with doctors from a private clinic in Bern (Switzerland) to fix his damaged shoulder sustained in a crash during the Grand Prix in Motegi in Japan.

The operation took less than two hours and was a success. Once conscious again, Dominique Aegerter received a visit and support even from his new teammate for the 2014 season Robin Mulhauser.

The agenda of the Swiss rider now consists of four weeks of forced rest before he can start an intensive rehabilitation that will enable him to get back into a top form ahead of the first winter test next February.
