Mid-season: holidays coming up but not for too long!

10.07.2014

Here we are in the middle of the season and close to the summer break, even though it seems that real summer has not yet reached us. Especially here in Germany, the circuit of Sachsenring, where we have arrived for the 9th round of the world championship. It is time to sum up on the performance of Dominique Aegerter and Robin Mulhauser so far.

"With 71 points in total, Dominique lies fourth in the world championship classification, which means we can start this round without too much pressure and remain focused on our objective to step up on the top step of the podium" said Fred Corminboeuf upon arrival to Germany.

"Robin is in his rookie year," continued the Team Manager of the Technomag-carXpert Team."He has to get as much track exposure as possible, adjust the behavior of his bike and adapt his riding style in accordance with it. He works hard and makes a steady progress."

Another hot topic is Dominique's first experience with a MotoGP bike. Of course he was excited to take up this opportunity but he knows that there is still a long journey ahead of him before he can do a full season.

To conclude, we can now officially confirm that Dominique will participate in the famous 8-hour endurance race in Suzuka that will take place at the end of July. A first 2-day test has already taken place in Japan. Dominique is fascinated not only by the challenge that this race represents but also by the circuit itself.

When it comes to Robin, his summer programme will focus mainly on his physical preparation with many hours of training being on the menu.

Our riders will not have a lot of rest during this holiday period but that is in fact their own choice!
